Our Learning Concept

Learn how we've structured our teaching and why

Our Story

EXL Education was founded by a group of high-school graduates who noticed the difference that could be made to the quality of a student's education by theory booklets with targeted questions as well as a genuine connection between teachers and students.

Starting out as private and small class tutors, we realised the value that students gained from having excellent learning material and teacher support outside the classroom and built subject-specific programs which could allow students to learn at their own pace, in an order which suited their school and with the support they needed.

We have made our goal to help more students succeed in their studies in their own way, breaking away from the idea that top marks equal top students. Instead, we focus on personalised learning, catering to the unique strengths and weaknesses of each student to help them improve.

Our Course Structure

Every course at EXL comes with four key elements

Supportive Teachers

At EXL, our teachers are more than just someone to learn from. They're support extends outside the classroom, offering advice on university, extra-curriculars and career paths as well as tailored feedback on exams.

Recorded Lessons

Every lesson at EXL is recorded so you can rewatch or catch-up at any time. This allows students to work ahead or work at their own pace rather than following the pace of the teacher.

Quality Class Materials

Instead of teaching from a textbook. EXL provides booklets which integrate theory with targeted questions. Our homework booklets are standardised so that you can track your progress and help you improve.

Quick Response Time

Using our discussion forum, students can ask questions outside of the classroom and receive quick responses to their answers. Other students can search for the same question and immediately find an answer.
